Hugo Ödülü, bir önceki yıl ortaya konan en iyi bilim kurgu ve fantezi
çalışmalarına çeşitli kategorilerde her yıl verilen ödüldür.Ödülün ismi, öncü bilim kurgu dergisi Amazing Stories'in kurucusu Hugo Gernsback'ten gelir. İlk olarak 1953 yılında verilen ödül, 1955'ten beri aralıksız her yıl sahiplerini bulmaktadır.
Bilim kurgu ve fantezi dalının en prestijli ödüllerinden biri olarak kabul edilen Hugo Ödüllerinin 2012 kazananları listesi geçtiğimiz gün açıklandı.
